July 22, 1938 The dried apricot market has been rising a little the past few weeks, from around 9 cents to 10 1/2 cents per pound Thursday. L. L. Stith, P. W. Thornberry, H. A. Mermod, and son Jack, and Mark Koehler attended a ball game in Sacramento Friday night. Mr. and Mrs. M. Pena have bought a home in Santa Cruz where they expect to live at the close of the summer and fall work on the Boyce ranch. Harold Ritchie and Lyell Guthrie were week end visitors in the Yosemite Valley. Mrs. R. F. Reasoner has all her children with her over weekend, in compliment to Rev. Donald Reasoner who left yesterday to return to the southern Brazil mission field. The Fred Barker family and Malcolm Mahoney left this morning to spend a few days in Alturas. Miss Joan Erb is having a vacation with Mrs. A. Kleiwer and party at Kyburz. Miss Katherine Chulick was over from Sonoma for the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. Chulick. P. W. Thornberry and family left Wednesday for San Jose where he will direct the activities of the California Fruit Exchange. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Sale were Sunday visitors with latter’s sister, Mrs. D. W. Lee in Berkeley. Gerald and Elizabeth Gale are visiting their aunt Mrs. McKinnon at Concord.]]>
