July 29, 1938 The stream flow of Putah Creek has diminished to the extent that City Engineer Holmes removed a board from the top of the dam Thursday. Postmaster Charles Graf, J.H. Roseberry, R. E. Degener and L. H. Wilson attended the informal reception accorded U.S. Senator William G. McAdoo, at the office of the Woodland Democrat last Tuesday. Mrs. Rilford Tutt and son Jerry of Willits are visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Bourland who reside south of Madison. Mr. and Mrs. A. Cattermole of Berkeley were Sunday guests at the Rice Brothers’ home in Wolfskill. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Mermod, Ted and Jack Mermod left Monday to be in attendance at the conclave of Christian churches in session this week at Santa Cruz. Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Campbell and daughter, Miss Virginia were recent visitors in San Francisco. A.J. Fulton and family, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Baker of Vallejo and Tom Ross left early Wednesday for a fishing trip at Dillon Beach. W. W. Stark and son Dean spent a few days last week at Butte Meadows. Miss Elizabeth Doll of Oakland was a visitor last week with Mrs.C.H. Sackett in Apricot district.]]>
