June 17, 1938 Miss Emily Munoz who graduated from high school two weeks ago is announcing her marriage to Joe Martino. The pair were wed in Fairfield April 27. A.W. Boyce of Alameda, nephew and executor of the estate of the late H.G. Boyce is at the ranch this week looking after the estate’s business affairs.

W.W. Stark, committee chairman and master of ceremonies, will preside at the celebration tomorrow night” honoring the completion of the Putah Creek dam and installation of the new street lights.

Kenneth Thurber entertained a dozen of his schoolmates Saturday night, at at swimming party near his home in Pleasant Valley.

Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cheney, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Meyer and Herman Meyer were among the delegation to Yountville Veterans Home Sunday. Governor Merriam spoke at the annual exercise.

According to J. Allen Johnson, Migratory Camp Manager, he has almost full house on the grounds. There are now 165 families with a population between 700 and 750. He says 90 percent of them are from Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

The California Fruit Exchange last night reported 150 cars of fruit shipped to eastern cities for the season.
