June 24, 1938 Miss Marion Degener and Mark Pleasants were honored at a theatrical and dancing party Sunday night at the local theatre, following the street celebration.

Continuing his outstanding career as a life insurance underwriter, Robert A. Young has earned an all-expense cruise to Alaska’s border. Mr. and Mrs. Young will join the Leading Producers’ Club in Seattle late in August. –

Delivery of the first dried apricots of the season has long stimulated a friendly rivalry between W. D. Overhouse and H. E. Mermod. This season, the two orchardists both delivered fruit Monday.

Joe Griffin, Stanford student is at home for the summer recess.

William R. Pugh of the high school staff was given a Master of Arts degree Saturday at Stanford Commencement Exercises.

Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Judy, Dean Griffin of Walnut Grove and Francis Craven of Boise, Idaho, were guests of Mrs. D. 0. Judy Saturday and attended the street

celebration. Cameron Girton of Berkeley is spending his vacation with his grandmother, Mrs. Mary Mardis at the Rice Bros. ranch in Wolfskill district.

Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Sackett, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Adams and son Jerry will leave tomorrow for an outing at Fort Ross.
