This week will see the end of most of a prolonged but quiet apricot harvest season.
Dr. W. O. Russell arrived from Cleveland for a six weeks’ vacation in California. He will divide his time with his father, supervisor W. O. Russell, and his sister, Mrs. R. K. Ham in Berkeley.
Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Elliott of San Rafael were brief visitors in town Wednesday. The latter’s mother, Mrs. J. R. Johnston returned with them to San Rafael.
Mrs. Helen Pleasants, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hoskins, and daughter, Jean went to San Francisco Friday to bid farewell to Miss Alta Wells who sailed Friday to Honolulu.
Mrs. George Burleigh and little son Gordon of Minneapolis, Minnesota are expected to arrive today for a visit with the former’s parents, Mr. and Mr. A. C. Sullivan, and sister, Mrs. H.C. Day.
Mr. and Mrs. George Moore visited their son Foss Moore in San Luis Obispo over the weekend holiday.
Mr. and Mrs. Lester Dalbey and daughter of Newhall are guests with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Dalbey.
