The proclamation, which was read by Mayor Bill Biasi at last Tuesday’s the council meeting, also honored those who volunteered their time during the project, including Liz Coman, Kate Humphrey and Valerie Whitworth. The mural project was developed through curriculum created by Humphrey, an art teacher at the high school, and local muralist Jaime Montiel. “When you’re driving into town and you’re looking at the beautiful artwork over there….it’s a job very well done,” Biasi said.]]>
