Due to high interest for the class offered in December, a second basic computer class for adults will be offered at the Arthur F. Turner Community Library at 1212 Merkley Avenue in West Sacramento on Tuesday, Jan. 16 from 9-11 a.m. Doors will open before regular library hours at 8:30 a.m. and the class will start at 9:00 a.m. in the computer area.

This free class offers participants a basic introduction to the Microsoft Office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Instruction will cover what the programs are used for as well as time to practice. The class will be held before the library opens to give students a more relaxed environment to practice. Computers will be provided.

Registration is required by Sunday, Jan. 14 as space is limited. Call 916-375-6465, or visit the Arthur F. Turner Community Library, to register for the class. This computer class is sponsored by the West Sacramento Friends of the Library.
