Rebecca and Woody Fridae took along their Winters Express on their “Not Panama” tour last week. When they were denied entry onto their flight to Panama because one of their passports failed to go three months beyond their travel dates, (the passport was good until March 15) they made lemon cocktails when life gave them lemons. They already had their bags packed, so they headed south to the Bay Area to celebrate their 40th anniversary, dining at the elegant Claremont in Berkeley, then staying with friends in San Francisco.
