The Winters High School girls soccer team played in a Northern California CIF Regional Playoff game. The Warriors traveled to Redding in the pouring rain on Tuesday, Feb. 26 to play against University Prep High School.

“The Championship was a sundae–this coming up playoff game is the Chocolate Sprinkles, we got this,” said Mallory Layne to support the team and bolster the teams morale. The Warriors came through the season with only eight points shot against them, and suffered a hard loss, their hardest of the season, in their first shut out. The final score was 6-0.

The Warriors won the Sectional Championships and advanced to the Regional playoffs, which in their first game, ended their season.

The Warriors overall record at the end of the season was 17-2-4.
