Life Center celebrates WHS excellence

The Life Center Church (201 Main Street) honored some of Winters High School’s finest athletes during the regular morning service at 10 a.m. on Sunday, March 4.  The girl’s wrestling team was presented with award certificates celebrating their gold victory!  The team features Eli Moore, Alaina Corloss, Vanessa Ceja & Valeria Ceja, along with Head Coach Andy Gomez and Assistant Coach Fernando Goncalves.

The Life Center is very active in Winters. One of the church’s pastors, Joe Patterson, stated, “We love our city!  We are committed to participating and supporting the things that make it better!  We are also committed to working alongside our schools to raise up young champions.”

The Life Center offers a junior and senior high youth program every Wednesday night at 7 p.m.  It is free and everyone is welcome.
