Marshals, cars needed for parade

The Winters Youth Day Parade needs parade marshals to line up the entries on Youth Day morning. These people will greet entrants, give them their numbers and line them up numerically. To volunteer contact Mike Sebastian at

Cars are still needed to carry dignitaries in the 82nd Youth Day Parade on Saturday April 28. Cars will carry the visiting and local officials and will be needed from 9-11:30. If you can donate the use of a car and driver call parade chairman Bob Williams, 795-2211.

The Winters Youth Day Parade will have a new announcer this year at the City Hall reviewing stand. Richard Kleeberg, local actor and Winters resident will take the microphone from retiring announcer Gil Sebastian. Kleeberg will bring a new style and delivery to the annual event.

The announcer at the Main Street reviewing stand will be Mike Sebastian, who is celebrating 40 years as parade announcer this year.
