Two former Winters High School students crossed paths last weekend as they both competed for their college in the Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships at Lake Natoma on April 28-29. Isabela Martinez, 2015 graduate, and Sarah Stone, 2017 Winters alumna, both competed for their respective schools in different division of the competition.

Martinez competed in the Womens Varsity 4+D2, D3, Club for UC San Diego, placing third at the competition, while Stone competed in the Womens Novice + Division for UC Irvine and took first place.
