New officer, parking on next city council agenda

The Winters Police Department welcomes Officer Victor Barajas to the Public Safety team. Barajas is a graduate of Dixon High School, and attended the Dixon Police Department Cadet Program in 2013. In 2016, he graduated from the Napa Valley College Police Academy.

He will be sworn in at the Tuesday, Aug. 15, Winters City Council meeting, which begins at 6:30 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall. Anyone may attend.

The agenda includes:

~  Swearing in of new police officer Victor Barajas

~  Fire department presentation

~  Parking

~  Succession planning

~  Resolution approving a public improvements reimbursement agreement between the City of Winters and HBT of Winters Highlands LLC (Stones Throw development)
