The Vacaville Museum Guild will present an informative and theatrical tour of fashion through the ages on Saturday, May 12, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Ulatis Community Center, 1000 Ulatis Drive in Vacaville.
The program includes a collection of antique gowns and accessories, modeled by volunteers. Spectacular clothing will be featured, such as ball gowns, day dresses, wedding gowns, lingerie, men’s clothing, furs, shoes, hats, and wool bathing suits.
A notable collection of Worth gowns from the collection of Goodwill Industries of the Greater East Bay will also be showcased. There will also be fashion related vendors present for fun shopping, and raffle prizes for chances on beautiful prizes.
Tickets are $45, which includes lunch and a glass of wine, and are available at the Vacaville Museum, 213 Buck Avenue in Vacaville, Wednesday through Sunday, 1-4:30 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the Vacaville Museum, A Center for Solano County History.
