Randy Miles Davis passed away at home Saturday, March 17, 2018. Randy was born in Sacramento on March 19, 1955 to Russell and Eunice Davis. He joined two older sisters Ruschalle and Vickie.

He lived in the city of Winters for more than 60 years where he attended school and was a graduate of Winters High School. He enjoyed football and baseball in his youth as well as hunting, fishing and being outdoors.

For most of his adult life, Randy worked in soil stabilization for the Jeffery family at Western Stabilization. He joined the Operating Engineers Union more than 30 years ago. Randy was always willing to lend a hand to help friends and family, he never knew a stranger. Randy loved to tell a good story or joke and talk to his friends.

In 1990, Randy married his childhood sweetheart Gail Morgan and became a father to Jason, James and Jennifer.

He is survived by his wife Gail Davis, his sister Vickie (Jack) Looney, his son James McKinney and daughter Jennifer (Michael) Cusack; eight grandchildren, two great-grandsons, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents, Russell and Eunice, his sister Ruschalle, his son Jason McKinney, and grandson Blake McKinney.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 31, at 11 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, located at 435 Anderson Avenue in Winters. A reception will follow at the Morgan Ranch at 3984 Canal Lane in Winters, weather permitting.
