School board meets Thursday, June 7

The Winters School Board will meet on Thursday, June 7, at 6 p.m. in the Walnut Room at the school district office at 909 W. Grant Avenue. Anyone may attend.
The following items are on the agenda:

~  District’s Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP).
 ~  Proposed budgets for the 2018/2019 school year for the following funds: General Fund, Child Development, Cafeteria, Bond, Capital Facilities, Redevelopment Agency and Health & Safety Code, Bond Interest and Redemption, and Special Reserve.
~  Excess Reserves in Proposed 2018/19 Budget.
~  Recognition of Winters Express publisher emeritus Charles Wallace and former editor Debra DeAngelo for their many years of covering Winters Joint Unified School District.
~  Draft Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) 2018-19 through 2020-2021
~  Senior Capstone Update
~  English Language Arts Textbook Adoption for Winters High School
~  Approval of Declaration of Need for Fully Qualified Educators
