The Winters After School Program (WASP) is offered at both Waggoner Elementary School for students in grades 1-3 and Shirley Rominger Intermediate School for students in grades 4-5. The program operates on school days from afters school until 6 p.m.
Registration starts Tuesday, May 1, at City Hall at 8 a.m. Registration packets will be available Monday, April 30, at City Hall, WASP classrooms, Waggoner Elementary School and Shirley Rominger Intermediate School. All completed packets must be turned in to City Hall.

Tuition for the program is $100 per month per child, $50 per month per child for those qualifying for reduced lunch through the school district and $25 per month per child for those qualifying for free lunch through the school district.
Each day, students participate in reading, academics (including homework help), enrichment activities (including science, crafts and learning games) as well as recreational activities. Students will receive a two-piece snack each day. Students also will enjoy field trips, presentations and nutrition lessons throughout the school year.
