Brandon Colter, a long distance runner on the team, runs the 800, 1600 and 3200 meter races. In the 3200 meter Colter ran it in 10:55.97, missing first place by 5 seconds. “Brandon is always willing to compete, and has shown a lot of heart,” said Coach Jules Damey. “Despite having to run the grueling 800, 1600 and 3200 meter races all in one meet, his resilience is incredibly impressive.” Anthony Jimenez also set a personal record in the long jump. Jimenez recorded a 19′ 5″ jump, and finished in third. Albert Ramos set a personal record and finished in second place, in his event the triple jump. Ramos cleared 41′ 9.5″. Garrett Mattheson also finished in second in his event the high jump. Mattheson cleared the bar in the high jump at a height of 5′ 8″. This week is spring break for the Warriors, but they will attend a Sacramento Valley League track meet on Wednesday, March 27 at Pierce High School.]]>
