NAPA COUNTY— The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform pavement repair work on State Route 128 (SR-128) near the Napa/Sonoma county line.

The work will repair a section of SR-128 affected by last October’s Wine Country Fires.

To ensure public and worker safety, one-way traffic controls will be in effect on SR-128 between the Napa/Sonoma county line and approximately ½ mile just east of the county line.

Crews will alternate lane closures in both northbound and southbound directions. This will allow one traffic lane on SR-128 to remain open during the work.

The work will be performed on SR-128 on Thursday and Friday, May 10 and 11. Work will start each night at 6 p.m. and end at 6 a.m. the following mornings. Flaggers will help direct traffic.

All work is weather permitting.

Motorists should expect delays and allow for extra travel time.
