For the position of Yolo County Clerk-Recorder/Assessor, I’m writing to encourage all Yolo County voters to cast their vote for David Schwenger. He’s experienced and he’s ethical.
He’s served over a decade in the Clerk-Recorder/Assessor’s Office in Yolo County. He is currently Senior Appraiser. His eighteen years of property assessment experience has allowed him to improve the process and deal with the increased workload of the Assessor’s office. He vows to apply efficiency to the processes in the Clerk-Recorder office that will enhance customer service and reduce expenses.
Most importantly, he’s committed to cleaning up voter registrations critical to the maintaining the accuracy of the voter rolls in our county. Currently, there are individuals still registered to vote in the county that are either deceased or registered in multiple counties. The Yolo County Grand Jury in 2017 determined there were a number of irregularities within the administration of the Elections office and voting that cast doubt on the integrity and fairness of our county elections.
Our county deserves a County Clerk-Recorder/Assessor who has the background to manage the complexities of the office for the benefit of the public. Centrally, we need someone in this job who clearly prioritizes and protects our voting system and the voting rights of our registered voters.
David Schwenger has shown his capabilities for this position and stated his commitment to insuring the honesty of the election process here in Yolo County.
Let’s elect him as Yolo County Clerk-Recorder/Assessor this June 5.
