Competing in the Vacaville Christian Tournament, the Winters High School varsity softball team split their two games. They lost their first matchup, but battled for a victory in game two. The rest of the tournament was canceled due to weather.

The Warriors struggled in the first game against Argonaut on Thursday, April 5. Winters had just one hit in the 7-0 loss with AliAnn Iten going 1 for 3. Brooke Benson got on base with a walk and along with Iten each had two stolen bases.

In game two of the day, the Warriors took on American Canyon and battled for a 9-8 victory over the Wolves. Winters swung the bat much better this game totaling 14 hits on the day.

Payton Paschoal batted 2 for 3 with a triple, two runs scored and two RBI. Christi Woods batted 2 for 4 with a run scored. Iten batted 1 for 3 with two runs scored. Jocelyn McMillan went 1 for 4.

Benson batted 2 for 2 with an RBI. Eli Moore went 2 for 4. Makynsie Tuttle scored a run.

Alexis Garcia batted 2 for 4 with a double, a run scored and an RBI. Camryn Hamilton scored a run. Marin Spalding batted 2 for 4 with a run scored.
