Warriors fall to Falcons 4-2

In a non-league game, the Winters High School varsity softball team lost to visiting Vacaville Christian on Monday, March 19, by a score of 4-2. Winters held a 1-0 lead for the first three innings and then led 2-1 until the Falcons tied it up in the sixth. Vacaville Christian then scored two more in the top of the seventh for the win.

Alexis Garcia led the Warriors at the plate, batting 2 for 3. Alexia Larsen batted 1 for 1. Marin Spalding went 1 for 2 with an RBI. Makynsie Tuttle batted 1 for 2. Brooke Benson went 1 for 3, while Eli Moore and Payton Paschoal each scored a run.

Winters will host Colusa in their first league game on Tuesday, April 10.
