Police Oct. 24: 9:25 p.m., Marcus Alexander Karlstad, 29, of Esparto was arrested on a Yolo County Sheriff warrant of arrest charging him with passing checks with insufficient funds. Karlstad was booked and transported to Yolo County Jail for incarceration. Oct. 25: 1:18 a.m., 600 block of Manzanita Way, theft. ~10:53 a.m., Mary Carolyn Purtill, 58, of Winters was arrested on a Sacramento County bench warrant charging her with violation of probation on previous charge of willfully discharging a firearm in a negligent manner. Purtill was booked and transported to Yolo County Jail for incarceration. ~7 p.m., Anthony Jacob Clark, 35, of Winters was arrested on a Winters Police Department bench warrant charging him with failure to appear on previous charge of driving with a suspended/revoked driver’s license. Clark was booked and transported to Yolo County Jail for incarceration. Oct. 26: 6:55 p.m., 700 block of Main Street, residential audible alarm. Oct. 27: 2:23 a.m., Britney Ann Abarca, 22, of Winters was arrested for two counts of obstructing/resisting a Police Officer and battery on a Police Officer. Abarca was booked and transported to Yolo County Jail for incarceration. Oct. 28: 1:23 p.m., Jeffery Shane Willard, 48, of Winters was arrested for domestic violence, assault with a deadly weapon and criminal threats. Willard was booked and transported to Yolo County Jail for incarceration. Oct. 29: 7:52 a.m., Antonio Cruz Alcudia, 19, of Winters was issued a notice to appear in court for being an unlicensed driver. ~8:05 p.m., 400 block of Railroad Avenue, commercial audible alarm. Oct. 31: 1:50 a.m., Katie Lynn Neil, 23, of Winters was arrested on a Winters Police Department bench warrant charging her with violation of probation on previous charge of passing a fictitious check.
