There will be one on Saturday, March 9, from 1-4 p.m. for its “Eight-Legged Wonders.” This is a spider themed open house, featuring the work of the Jason Bond lab. On Saturday, April 13 from 10 to 3 p.m. the Bohart will participate in UC Davis Picnic Day. The Bohart Museum, located in Room 1124 of the Academic Surge Building on Crocker Lane, UC Davis campus, is the home of nearly eight million insect specimens, plus a year-around gift shop and petting zoo. It is open to the general public Mondays through Thursdays, from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and from 1-5 p.m. It hosts  occasional weekend open houses. Admission is free.
