The Artery presents “April Showers Bring May Flowers” with its members saluting Spring. The show will extend from Monday, March 29 through Friday, April 19 with a reception on Friday, April 13 from 7-9 p.m. The Artery leaves the long winter behind by celebrating with a show featuring all things spring.  Our members have interpreted this season of color, blossoms, green fields and flowering trees with their unique works.  Nature is at its glory and we are inspired by all these earthly delights. The theme is depicted in paintings, jewelry, photography, ceramics and glass. Even if there are some April showers, our gallery will be sunny and bright with our special creations.

Winters artist Rebecca Bresnick of Muddogmom Pottery will have ceramic flowers, including some with bees and ladybugs on them, painted vintage windows, and more featured at the April show. You can see more of Bresnick’s work online at
The reception for April Showers bring May Flowers coincides with the Davis Second Friday ArtAbout on Friday, April 13 from 7-9 pm. The Artery (207 G Street, Davis) is open seven days a week Monday through Saturday: 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Sunday: 12-5 p.m. and Friday evenings until 9 p.m.
