The documents included on the web portal include a September 2017 workplan that outlines a number of objectives and goals in anticipation of a potential development application by Bellevue North, a real estate development company owned by Greg Hostetler. The workplan set to appear on the web portal contains a large message in yellow highlight that says it is a “preliminary draft…in anticipation of a planning process which could be proposed.” That same document was among the records obtained by the Express last week, except the document obtained last Friday did not include the highlighted draft message. Other records acquired by the Express are slated to be published in a series of print and online stories on the topic of annexation and Bellevue North’s potential planning application Wednesday morning. Donlevy also announced he intends to launch a new series called “Ask the City Manager” in which residents will be invited to come by City Hall with questions related to city functions, business and other topics. Those town hall sessions will occasionally include a guest speaker, including public works and planning employees, according to a press release. The series is slated to launch April 25 at 4 p.m. and will be streamed live on the city’s YouTube and Facebook profiles, Donlevy said. Read more about the annexation and planning documents obtained by the Express in this week’s paper and via the Express website on Wednesday.

Where exactly is the proposed annexation? If it’s on the site of the old city dump, won’t that take a large amount of toxic clean up before building?
