Sunday, June 17Question & Answer Time
Stop by the Mary L. Stephens Davis Library, Children’s Area Conference Room, on June 17 for a free question and answer session from 2-4 p.m. with the UCCE Master Gardeners of Yolo County. There will be two mini-presentations with time for questions. The topic presented at 2:15 p.m. is, “What is eating your plants and what to do”. The topic starting at 3:15 p.m. is, “Which water features can help keep your yard cool and also be waterwise”. The library is located at 315 E. 14th Street, Davis.

Saturday, June 23 – Entice Pollinators To Your Garden
On June 23 join us at the Woodland Community College located at 2300 E. Gibson Road, Woodland. A free presentation from 10-11 a.m. in Building 400 will be given by UCCE Yolo County Master Gardeners to explain why pollinators are important and what plants will encourage pollinators to come to your garden.

Sunday, June 24 – Year-Round Kitchen Gardening

Sunday June 24 from 2-4 p.m. at the Mary L. Stephens Library, Children’s Area Conference Room, UCCE Master Gardeners of Yolo County will present information covering a variety of topics. The areas of discussion include: harvesting stone fruit; pinching back flower buds on herbs; edible flowers; planting starts for the fall kitchen garden; bringing the last of the winter garden into the kitchen; and information about escorille and chicories.
