The Davis Cemetery District has had the pleasure of partnering with the wonderful children and leaders of the boy and girl scouts from many years. We would like to celebrate their artistic skills with a one of a kind group art show at our office gallery.
Boy and Girl Scouts, past and present, are invited to share their original artwork to the 2018 Yolo District Scout Art Exhibition. The theme is “Explore” and it will feature 2D artworks or various art forms. We look forward to sharing their photography, collage, pen and ink, painting graphic arts and much more.
Submissions do not need to be framed, and should not be larger than 16”x 20”.
All submissions should include the artist’s name, phone number, email, Troop/Crew #, Age, Title of Submission, Media and brief statement (optional).
Drop off submissions to Mrs. Sturm, Mondays from 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Church of St. Martin, Davis until Thursday, June 28. Email Kristi Dvorak at Davis Cemetery District at with any questions.
The work will be on display during the month of July at Gallery 1855, the non-profit art gallery located at the Davis Cemetery District (820 Pole Line, Davis, CA). The art party will be open to the public on Sunday, July 8 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. All pieces will be returned to the artists in Aug.
