Learn to make wreathes from Yolo County Master Gardeners this December

Saturday, Dec. 7 – Wreath Making Class Enjoy a hands on class on how to make a wreath from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Woodland Community College, Building 400 on Dec.7. UC-Yolo Master Gardeners Linda Parsons,Gail Jankowski, Ruth Shimomura and Emma Tiangco will talk about wreaths in various forms and materials. There will be hands on demonstrations and the participants will be guided in making their own wreath to take home. All materials will be provided for a materials fee of $5 only. The materials fee covers wreaths, cones, moss and other decorating materials. Only cash or checks will be accepted as payment. Saturday, Dec. 14 – Floriculture – Christmas Wreaths Make a beautiful Christmas wreath on Dec. 14 from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Esparto Regional Library. Participants will construct a 16 inch wire wreath. Fir branches will be provided. Participants should bring decorations of choice to add to the wreath. Wire rings will be available to purchase for $1 each. Children are welcome with supervision. The class will be taught by Master Gardener Jim Schulte.
