Samantha Rameriz, a sophomore on the Winters High School varsity soccer team, is the Pisani’s Athlete of the Week. “Samantha started out the second half of the Pierce game on fire. She scored a hat trick in four minutes and 13 seconds. That’s the fastest I’ve ever seen three goals scored by one player,” said head coach Kim Olivas. Rameriz has a nose for the ball and can, seemingly, be in several places at once. “She is a fierce competitor who has no ‘off button.’ Sammy is a force on the field and very valuable to the team as she can and will play every position on the field with the exception of goalkeeper,” said Olivas.
