The Farm-to-Fork Festival is a celebration of the businesses in the Sacramento Region who grow and distribute local food and drinks to residents’ tables every day. The 2021 festival was held from Sept. 9 to 18 on the Capitol Mall in Sacramento. On Saturday, Sept. 18, many Winters business owners shared photos from the festival on their social media accounts of the Winters section of the Visit Yolo tent.
Many of them spent the day representing Winters in the Visit Yolo tent, and contributed with display items and other support in the creation of the Winters section which featured a mini hot air balloon, fresh produce and nuts, plus wares from local businesses.
Corinne Martinez, Berryessa Gap Vineyards President and COO, gave kudos and gratitude to Lynda and Bill Hinds and Emarie and Nick Vangalio whose vision and execution made the Winters display the talk of the Festival.
The Farm-to-Fork Festival, hosted by Visit Sacramento, was initially created as a celebration of the Sacramento region’s food and agriculture. The festival is an opportunity to introduce the public to the chefs, farmers, ranchers, vintners and brewers who are responsible for the foods and drinks that are produced locally.
