City of Winters hosting CivicSpark Fellow, apply by June 1

The CivicSpark Fellow will assist in the development of the Climate Resiliency Plan and work with City and regional staff.

CivicSpark is now accepting applications for Fellows. The City of Winters is hosting one CivicSpark Fellow for the 2019-20 service year. CivicSpark, a Governor’s Initiative AmeriCorps program, builds capacity for public agencies to address critical environmental and social equity challenges across California.

Our Fellow will be serving the community through assisting City staff in finalizing a Climate Action plan which will include additional elements of Climate Resiliency, update the GHG inventory, and assist staff in the creation of a Community Action Committee to engage the community in the CAP implementation. The Fellow will also assist in the development of a Climate Resiliency Plan, working with City and regional staff.
