Bridging the gap through Albariño Stroll

Join in an international celebration of the Spanish varietal Albariño, by strolling through Historic Winters and tasting locally produced Spanish wines along the way on Sat., August 4 from 2-5 p.m.

The downtown Winters’ businesses  are excited to partner up for the first time and extend the stroll to eight different locations to present the 3rd Annual Local Albariño Wine Stroll. In the past two years, Turkovich Family Wines and Berryessa Gap Winery, along with Preserve Public House, have presented the Albariño Wine Stroll, but this year there will be a lot of exciting changes by adding five more local businesses on the Event Map and providing a larger network of business owners and managers to meet and work on a local event together.

“In the past, it has not been as important to network together with other business owners,” said Carla Wroten owner of Steady Eddy’s. “However, Winters is changing and we must change with it. By bridging the gap and by working with eight main players in the downtown scene, we have more opportunities to be seen in the spotlight, working alongside successful and established local and family owned businesses. We also find by connecting more to other businesses, we are able to discuss how we can better work together, sell each other our specialty products, and provide our community members with the best locally crafted and handmade goods.”

Walk through the streets of our quaint Northern California community, as you taste and sip a bit of our local restaurant and wine scene. Buy your Passport Ticket and use the friendly Event Map to see what great shops and spots in town are a unique passport location. There will be Albariño wine and food pairings, as well as live music throughout your journey downtown. To find out what each Passport Location will be offering, check back on each of the participating location’s websites as the event date gets closer.

Wine Stroll Pass Price is $35 for Wine Club Members only. Tickets can be purchased at the following participating Passport Location websites starting Thursday, June 21 at Turkovich Family Wines, Berryessa Gap Vineyards or Steady Eddy’s Coffee House.
