Yolo Hospice is holding its 4th annual Buckhorn Dinner and Raffle Fundraiser on Thursday, Nov. 2. Everyone is invited to come out to the Buckhorn Steakhouse Restaurant to eat dinner and participate in a raffle.

There are two grand prizes this year: $500 in cash, and a farm dinner for four at Park Winters. They are also offering over 25 additional prizes valued at $100 or more, several featuring Berryessa Gap wines.

This year the Buckhorn will again donate 15 percent of the evening’s proceeds (food and alcoholic beverages included) to Yolo Hospice. The raffle will be held that evening at the Buckhorn, and ticket holders do not have to be present to win.

Call the Buckhorn for dinner reservations, 795-4503; early calls are recommended, as this event has consistently filled the restaurant in past years.

Contact Yolo Hospice board member Rosemarie Hendrickx, 795-2224, to purchase raffle tickets. Tickets are $5 each, and may also be purchased at the event.

Yolo Hospice is a community-based, non-profit organization. Founded in 1979, they have the longest regional track record as experts in caring for people with a life-limiting illness. They serve over 180 communities in the five counties of Colusa, Sacramento, Solano, Sutter and Yolo.

The funds raised at this event will support their mission, “to serve our communities, providing the highest level of care for every patient, every family, every time.”
