Express Insider: Tractor Parade eats and drinks

Many Winters businesses are celebrating the tractor parade with festive eats and drinks. A few other have special extended hours just for the parade. Winters Express staff have reached out to find out the details to help you plan for tonight. Steady Eddy’s Coffee House: The coffee house will be staying open late until the town tree lighting. Food won’t be served after usual business hours, but they offer their full espresso bar and are serving holiday drinks like hot chocolate (made with Ghirardelli chocolate), peppermint mochas and hot apple cider. Hooby’s Brewing: Hooby’s will be opening at 4 p.m. today instead of their usual opening hour. They just debuted their new Chocolate Stout Waffle made with their house chocolate stout, chocolate sauce, ice cream and marshmallows. Flying Pig: Enjoy 10 percent off everything in the store all day long Saturday, Dec. 7. Turkovich Family Wines: Turkovich will be serving malted cider and roasted nuts in the tasting room, but their kitchen will be closed. Putah Creek Cafe: The cafe will be serving bowls of chili with the fixings (cheese, sour cream, onion) and hot apple cider outside under the patio covering. Winters Collective: The Collective will be serving hot apple cider from their storefront. Berryessa Gap: They’ll have complimentary holiday cookies for patrons until they’re gone. They’ll also have specials of 50 percent off all cases of 2017 red wines and off all rosé four-pack of cans.  Pizza Factory: They will have pizza by-the-slice served from a booth set up near their front door.  Ocean’s: They are ready to take on the cold weather with hot soup. They’ll have fresh veggies and wonton soup or egg flower soup, both for $7.50. Buckhorn Steakhouse: They have a special that includes bread/butter, appetizers, soup or salad, entree and dessert for $70 adults and $25 for children. Tomat’s California Cuisine: Tomat’s is featuring hot buttered rum drinks and children’s meals for $5.95. Green River Brewing & Taproom: Green River is serving hot chocolate and handing out candy canes. Subway: They’ll be featuring their cookies.
