The public is invited to a free flu shot clinic Monday, Dec. 4, from 3-6 p.m. at the Community Center. Pre-registration is not required, and shots will be administered on a first come, first served basis.
“Everyone can benefit from a flu shot to prevent the illness that can lead to missed work or missed school days,” says Sheila Allen, RN, PhD and senior project consultant for the City of Winters.
Prevention is especially important for young children and older adults. The minimum age for this shot clinic is 4 years old. For younger children, call Public Health Nursing, 530-666-8649, for more information.
This clinic is brought to Winters by Yolo County Health and Human Services Agency and the City of Winters Senior Project.
