What’s in a name? At the Yolo County Archives/Library Building, hopefully a very good story.

Yolo County wants your help picking a name for the Yolo County Archives/Library Building. The county is welcoming ideas  submitted using a new Naming Nomination Form.

The form, due later this month, also includes details and guidance on the naming of facilities in accordance with Yolo County Naming of County Assets policy. For example, buildings are generally not named after living individuals, and usually named after someone who served the county in a public service or employee capacity.

Forms may be mailed or delivered to the County Administrator’s Office at 625 Court Street, #202 Woodland, CA 95695. They can also be emailed to Mindi Nunes at mindi.nunes@yolocounty.org. All nomination forms must be received or postmarked by Friday, June 15.
