This is just a devastatingly tragedy for Julia’s family, friends and for Winters. We have lost a truly unique and amazing young woman who overcame serious challenges to seek her athletic goals while making a real impact in the community she loved. R.I.P. Julia

Julia, my dear friend. You will be deeply missed by myself and so many others. Your smile was always infectious and your spirit was always free. Love you my friend.

I didn’t know Julia personally but I’ve worked with her uncle for many years, and he has always spoken about how special, how downright “good” Julia is. He loved her so very much. I’m devastated for her family. Heartbroken.
