Winters Fire and Winters Police Department staff, volunteers and family members helped to wash cars at their Relief Fundraiser event on Sept. 13. Winters Fire Chief Brad L. Lopez confirmed their teams raised $6,879.73. Kona Ice was on site to support the event and helped contribute to the fundraiser to support residents in the greater Winters community who were impacted by the LNU Lightening Complex Fire. “It was a great closer to the hard work everyone helped with and brought back some of the enjoyable traditions in building teamwork and camaraderie within the organization,” Lopez said.
