Scarecrows have been popping up around town in celebration (and in competition) of the return of the Winters District Chamber of Commerce 2021 Scarecrow Fest.

Winters community members can pick up a map of the business scarecrow entries and ballot so they can vote on their favorite scarecrows now through Nov. 1. The maps and ballot are available outside of the Winters Chamber office or any participating business.

This year’s business entry categories are:

  • Business Theme.
  • Spooky Scarecrow
  • Recycled/Organic Scarecrow
  • Skeleton/Halloween Themed
  • Most Humorous

Community members and visitors are able to vote for up to one scarecrow per a category, or a minimum of three scarecrows on the ballot. This year there are 43 business scarecrow entries to check out.
