Winters students are wearing their heart on their sleeves about what they love about Winters, and downtown businesses are pulsing with their love.

The Winters Combined PTA wanted to think out of the box for a way to promote school spirit and literacy. They have been unable to host any in-person events due to limitations presented during the coronavirus pandemic.

“We thought it would be fun to display the art downtown so students could come view their artwork all together,” said Marilyn Autry, PTA President.

Students from Waggoner Elementary and Shirley Rominger Intermediate School decorated hearts with what they love about Winters. Their heart art is up for display in businesses along Main Street.
