If you’re an Elvis fan, this show’s for you! On Saturday, Jan. 22, top Elvis impersonator Rob Ely will take the stage at Dixon High School’s community theatre to perform song favorites such as “Don’t Be Cruel,” “Blue Suede Shoes,” and “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” The fundraiser for Dixon’s Teen Center will begin at 7 p.m.

Ely has won top honors at Elvis talent competitions around the U.S. He has placed in the top three – or in first place – at five regional Elvis contests sponsored by Elvis Presley Enterprises, and was crowned “Best Overall Elvis” at Thunder Valley Casino. He won Grand Champion at the Laughlin, Nev. Elvis Festival and performs close to 200 shows per year around the U.S.

Only 300 tickets are available for the show at the DHS theater (555 College Way) in Dixon. Tickets may be purchased online at Eventbrite.com (search “Elvis Dixon”).

In Dixon, tickets ($30 each) may be purchased at the Chamber of Commerce, Dixon Florist and the Grocery Outlet. Tickets would make wonderful Christmas presents. Raffle prizes will also be offered.

Dixon’s Teen Center first opened in 2011, and looks forward to continuing operations after a closure due to COVID-19.
