Winters Public Safety Festival planned Saturday

The Winters Police Department has partnered with other local public safety agencies for the third annual Winters Public Safety Festival, planned Saturday, Oct. 7, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Public Safety Facility.

The free festival will feature emergency vehicles from the Winters Fire Department, Yolo County Sheriff Office, Yolo County SWAT, Explosive Ordinance Disposal (E.O.D), California Department of Fish and Wildlife, and the Woodland office of the California Highway Patrol. Emergency equipment demonstrations will also be shown in addition to booths, give-away items, games, a bounce house and refreshments.

Both the Winters Police Department and the Winters Fire Department will also conduct tours of the Public Safety Facility during the event.

Local community service providers will also be participating in the event such as Winters Health Care, Empower Yolo, Yolo County Victim Services and many more.
