By Marge Sebastian Special to the Express The February meeting of the Winters Senior Citizens Club was held on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at the Winters Community Center. The meeting was well attended and the Club welcomed two new members. The tables were decorated in a beautiful Valentine’s Day theme with Kathy Valley and Bea Edwards taking charge. The members enjoyed a wide variety of brought by all to share. The guest speaker was Bill Lagatutta, who spoke about the Keep Winters,Winters initiative that is trying to qualify for the November ballot. His talk was very informative. The Club’s outgoing Treasurer, Lee Wilce was presented with a bouquet of flowers and a card signed by all the members in appreciation of her seven years of service to the club. Jerry Baker has taken over the job of Treasurer. The March meeting/potluck will be held on Wednesday, March 11 at 11 a.m. at the Winters Community Center. Corned beef and cabbage will be served, but please bring a dish to share.]]>
