Thursday is Game Day Come join your over 55 years friends for some deserts, coffee, and to play a wide range of games. This is a  way to have a day of fun all summer long. If you are new, or new to a game, there are folks who are willing to teach you the ins and outs of the games played. We play a wide variety of games including Casual Cribbage, Scrabble of all types including “Up-words,” with dictionaries allowed. Mexican Train Dominos is always funwhen you just need to chill out. Progressive Rummy is a game for thinkers. We have a few folks who are puzzlers. On the first Thursday of each month, we offer an hour Bingo event with cash prizes. We are an open friendly group. We put no demands on newcomers other than to come with a smile. The day? Thursday; the time, 1-3:30 p.m. and the place is St Anthony Parish Hall. Mark Your Calendars for Wednesday, June 19 – Traffic Safety for Seniors In keeping with the Winters Senior Foundation mission, the June 19th program is perfectly aligned to enhancing the lives of seniors in Winters with guest speaker Rodney Fizbugh from the California Highway Patrol. As we age, our mobility remains a high priority.  Over the past six years, the Department has placed and emphasis on the roadway safety and the mobility of California’s seniors. Come enjoy some cool refreshments and meet Officer Fizbugh who will share lots of information about the programs available to keep us safe on the road. We’ll meet from 2-4 p.m. at the usual location, the Police and Fire Center training room, 700 Main St. ]]>
