Assistance available for Mini Grant applicants

With local nonprofits preparing to apply for the Yolo County American Rescue Plan Mini Grants program, the Yolo Community Foundation is offering assistance to applicants.

Yolo County has recently opened the Yolo County American Rescue Plan Mini Grants program. The Yolo County Board of Supervisors plans to award $250,000 in grants ($50,000 in each of the five supervisorial districts), with a target grant size of $1,000 to $10,000. Applications are open now and are due by March 31 at 5 p.m. More information, including eligibility requirements and a link to the application, is available at

The Yolo Community Foundation is partnering with Yolo County to support this program. YCF is conducting outreach to local nonprofits to spread awareness of the program and is also providing aid to applicants. YCF is hosting information sessions, to address the application process and how to craft a compelling application, and office hours, to answer applicant questions.

The information sessions will take place on Feb. 28 from 10-11 a.m. and March 2 from 2-3 p.m., while the office hours are March 15 1-3 p.m., March 22 10:30-11:30 a.m. and March 31 1-3 p.m. All events will be conducted via Zoom.
