Get ready for “Stepping Out!” the Yolo Healthy Aging Alliance annual fundraiser and Senior Superstar Award night, from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, April 3, at the YoloCares Galileo Place Garden, 1901 Galileo Ct. in Davis.

Proceeds from the event will be used to meet YHAA’s mission of promoting the wellbeing of older adults and supporting our expanding programs, including our case management service, phone friends, and grab bar installation, just to name a few. Guests will enjoy a delicious and fun meal from Drewski’s food truck, farm fresh, organic appetizers, local wine, beer and sparkling water, and dessert.

Baskets of red wine, dark chocolate, and more will be featured. It’s especially exciting this year to be able to hold this annual event in person in a lovely outdoor garden space. Many older and disabled adults have missed social activities with the restrictions we have all experienced the past two years. This event will be a fun “stepping out” evening for all!

Tickets are $50 and can be purchased at https://www.yolohealthyaging.org/annual-fundraiser-1 or by sending a check to “Yolo Healthy Aging Alliance” 600 A Street, Suite C, Davis, CA 95616. Join the major sponsor for the event, AARP, and become a sponsor today. For tickets, sponsorships and more information, contact Sheila Allen at sheila.allen@yolohealthyaging.org or call 530-776-5006. Proof of COVID vaccination will be required at the event.

Yolo Healthy Aging Alliance also announces a new “Century Club” to honor the Yolo County residents who are 99 and 100-plus years old. If you know someone who qualifies, please let us know and they will be celebrated. Contact YHAA for more information.
