Celebrate summer with Skynnyn Lynnyrd and craft brews at Green River

Skynnyn Lynnyrd is playing tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd on the Green River Park stage on Saturday, July 21 at 5 p.m. at Green River Brewing & Taproom. The Green River Park venue is family-friendly. Activities from the horseshoe and cornhole areas to a children’s play area are available. The Park Bar will be open. Audience members can drink craft brews as they listen to outstanding musicians and talented artists join forces to play tribute to the greatest rock-and-roll band in history. Green River Executive Chef Jason Harris has a special menu planned for the event. Concert attendees can feast on a whole roasted hog, bacon fried rice and roasted corn for $18 a plate at the event. “We’re excited to host Skynnyn Lynnyrd. They’re a great tribute band to have come play here in our community,” said Harris. “This is a family-friendly event. We encourage everyone to come out with their lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the concert.” Skynnyn Lynnyrd has committed over 11 years to studying and practicing all your favorite Lynyrd Skynyrd songs in the exact same manner and performance as the original. Skynnyn Lynnyrd musicians include Larry Woodruff, Curt Posthuma, Jason Miller, Chris Durham, Brad Andersohn, Wade Olson, Mike Klepic, Heather Rose and Debra Lee Andersohn.
