Equinox magic with Laura Sandage at Peregrine School

Local musician and community arts leader Laura Sandage will be performing an outdoor concert in the gardens of Peregrine School in celebration of the autumnal equinox.

Sandage is a community arts leader, performer and ritualist. She was the musical director for the Winters Shakespeare Workshop for over a decade. This concert will be an evening of song, story and celebration, all focused around the changing of the seasons.

Peregrine School is a non-profit private school with a focus on project-based learning through the natural sciences and outdoor education. From preschool through sixth grade, students’ lessons and daily activities are inspired by the natural world. Equinox Magic with Laura Sandage is the final event in Peregrine School’s 2021 Summer Family Concert series.

The event will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 22 at Peregrine School, located at 2650 Lillard Dr., Davis. Doors will open and activities will begin at 6 p.m, with the performance from 6:30-7:30 p.m. The concert will be outdoors and mask wearing is encouraged.

Picnics are encouraged as no food or drink will be sold on premises. Entry is free with a suggested donation of $15 per group.
