Yolo County residents can easily find data about a variety of topics, from homelessness to water quality to population growth all on Yolo County’s website. The “Community Indicator Dashboard” offers a wealth of information compiled from federal, state, county and non-profit sources, listed by seven categories: demographics, economy, education, environment, health, housing and safety.
“The Community Indicator Dashboard gives us all a lens to track our key information. It allows for greater transparency and accountability regarding the state of our community and the services provided,” said District 2 Yolo County Supervisor Don Saylor. “This dashboard is a key step in the County’s overall goal to improve services through data-driven decisions.”
The data provides a quick snapshot, all in one place, of the overall wellbeing of Yolo County residents. In addition to providing helpful information to anyone in the county, the data will also be used by the Yolo County Board of Supervisors and various public organizations to identify which areas need greater attention. The posted data will be routinely updated, keeping the information current.
